Paul Finney

Owner/Head Brewer Emporium Brewing

Paul Finney, better known as just Finney, is a pro brewer from Kaikoura. Initially an avid homebrewer he, and his wife Laura, opened a brewshop in Christchurch called Finney’s Homebrew Emporium. In 2015 Emporium Brewing was born with their first release Biscuity Bitter. Since then they have gone from strength to strength culminating in their 3 entered beers getting medals at the recent Guild awards (one of each colour). In early 2016 they sold the brew shop to move to Kaikoura to set up their brewery in a permanent location which had a bit of a hiccup when the 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit the area. The building and mini golf (yes, they have a mini golf course at their brewery) were all fine and are back open to the public
